Banana Steamed Cake

Ingredients: 8 Eggs 200g Sugar 340g Melted Butter 500g Flour 1/4 tsp Salt 2 tsp Double Baking Powder 2 tsp Soda Bicarbonate 600gm Bananas Sarawak (without skin) Method: 1. Melt the butter & set aside to cool. 2. Mix & sift the flour, double baking powder, Soda bicarbonate & salt. Set aside. 3. Mash Banana Sarawak with a fork & set aside (I use blender) 4.Mix  & beat the eggs & sugar with mixer until thick & in pale yellow colour. 5. Add in melted butter, mix well with a spatula. 6. Add in banana, mix well using spatula 7. Fold in the sifted flour using spatula. 8. Get ready a 9" × 9" cake pan & grease both the base & sides with buttee. Pour in the cake batter. Steam at high heat for 45 to 50 minutes. 9. The cake is ready to be served. Note: Prepare the steamer 10 minutes earlier & make sure the water is boiling before you put in the cake.
