Basic Dough - Chinese Steamed Buns
I bought a Tesco Breadmaker since year 2014.
Today, I want to share with you the basic method to make a dough for chinese steamed buns. I had tried a few times and it's superb.
Ingredients:
A - 500g Plain flour
50g Sugar
235ml Water
2 tsp Instant yeast
1 tsp Double baking powder
B - 25g Butter

Method:
1. Add water, plain flour, sugar, double baking powder and yeast to the Pan.
2. Swith on the breadmaker, select a 'dough' program with Menu button and press start.
3. Let the machine to knead the dough for 10 minutes.
4. Add in the butter and let it continue to knead for another 10 minutes.
5. The machine will beep and stop.
6. The basic dough for chinese steamed buns is ready.
